Welcome to Durham District Partnership's website
The Durham City District Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is a genuine, equal partnership, bringing people together from the public services, private business, community groups and voluntary organisations to improve the lives of those who live, work or visit the district.
The LSP Structure has four main components:
- LSP Accountability Panel - the LSP Accountability Panel provides a scrutiny role in respect of the partnership activities and decisions and acts as a forum for wider stakeholder engagement.
- LSP Executive - the LSP Executive is responsible for conducting the business of the partnership and acts to develop strategic direction into a more explicit form of action. Membership includes the Policy Group, Cross-cutting Group and Community Network Chairs.
- Policy and Cross-cutting Groups - these are sub groups that act as forums for change in designated areas and themes identified as priorities in our Community Plan.
- Community Network - the Community Network provides an opportunity for voluntary organisations, community groups and residents of the District to have their views represented at policy groups of the DDP Board as part of the decision making process.
